My dad gave me roses for graduation. I wanted to get a couple good shots of them since they are sadly already starting to fade. I was thinking, recently, about how my dad would come home and give my mom flowers randomly...and he would come home from the grocery store with flowers for me too :) He is one of the sweetest men I have ever known. I am very lucky.

On another note, summertime has arrived. I felt it today, and smelled it too. Got to chill out in the sun, got a little red. I had my first taste of corn on the cob and barbecued chicken, pasta salad, and the first hot fudge sundae. The sounds of little league baseball, the smell of a fire, and that cool air. Ah, I am soaking it all in.
