Clematis Montana

This is my first attempt at trying to use photoshop elements, which I am trialling.

It's a study of a Clematis Montana which grows outside my house and flowers really early. The two flowers are the same but I flipped one and converted it to sepia in silver Efex pro. It wasn't suitable to tone map ( I did try !)

I'm night shift again, tonight and tomorrow so I'm feeling a little tired just at the thought of staying up for so long, still Friday and Saturday night should be busy. This image was born out of a desire to take a photo of something easy, by not going out of my way to get a blip.

I was overwhelmed by the response to my efforts yesterday and can't thank everyone enough for the kind comments. There will be more HDR to follow but I'm still learning, if anyone is interested I have uploaded a gallery which can be found at the bottom of the "about this journal" page.
