A Long Day

Gosh it's been a long day!

I had hoped that I could leave work early today, but one of the residents has been ill and this morning she looked worse, so we contacted her doctor and got her admittet to hospital. I went with her in the ambulance and stayed with her until my colleague from the afternoon shift arrived to stay with her tonight.

I then went back to work to find staff to stay with her over the weekend. It was 5 pm when I finally went home.

I took the dogs out for a long walk as soon as I came home. The weather was beautiful and it was wonderful to relax and just enjoy the company of my wonderful boys.

And of course it's dog challenge day!
