our guests leave in the early hours of tomorrow morning

they have transformed the house and especially the garden during their stay.
it has gone from a dangerous jungle to a superb family garden that i am really looking forward to spending a lot of time in through the summer

the best bits are the fire pit (for cooking sausages on sharpened sticks and goulash in a large cooking pot suspended above it) and that they have found a use for the old kayak

i'll also miss the huge, meaty dinners they have treated us to - i could not and cannot thank them enough
