heronry?

If there was ever a shot which proves how desperately I need a good telephoto lens - this is it!

On my way in to work today I had a few minurtes to kill and, as I'm currently taking a detour to avoid roadworks in Forest Row, I pass by Weir Wood Reservoir. So I thought I might pull into the car park and bang off a quick blip.

The heronry at Weir Wood looks magnificent ... through my binoculars! Through my camera lens however it looks like this. Heronry? I hear you say What heronry?

I think I'll have to start putting some money aside to but myself a little camera related pressie later this summer. Then I can come back next Spring and do this shot a little more justice.
