busy high street

so in contrast to my working day in london yesterday, I went for a walk at lunchtime today to the busy village of Hinxton. This was the High Street at lunchtime.

I was tempted to try the pump, and check the postcards in the phone box.

The oddest thing was though, was the sound of the formula one testing going on at Duxford a mile away and a poor plane circling kind of going - "can I land yet, or is that bloody hamilton still on the runway"
