Out of Africa

Alex came home last night bearing gifts! He has spent 5 months in Kenya with the army and has had a wonderful experience.

I am delighted with this bowl representing the wildlife of Africa -most of which he has seen without really trying. He also climbed Mt Kenya, which he could see from his room, and suffered altitude sickness.

He is my star number one son not least because he came in and mended my two broken keyboard keys straight away - no problem!!!!

That's what sons are for.
