The last shot.

Three months ago I was sending it away for repair and was sad to see it leave. This time I'll be itching to get to the post office all morning. I wonder if it knew what was happening. A last trip up the hill for a last chance for it to attempt to focus on the wind farm in front of the dawn, a last close-up shot of the icy pavement next to Dunsapie Loch, a last being-left-in-the-bag whilst I walked past a really good potential shot of a crow in the tree against the dawn as there's no way it would have been able to focus before the crow got bored and flew off. Maybe when I took out its batteries, unscrewed the tripod and stuffed it back into its original packaging it finally realised.

EDIT: It's going to be close. Calumet (DAMN THEM) don't have it. Dixons ("actually Sir, we're only an online and telephone-based company") do (whilst their sister company Currys.digital don't) but reckon DHL will deliver within five working days. If that means I can pick it up from their South Gyle depot by COB on Monday I'll be happy. If it's anytime after 10am on Tuesday when I'll be on a train heading south...
