River Walk

We decided that, as it was a nice day to go to Monttisfont Abbey near Romsey in Hampshire for the morning. The River Test runs through the grounds - one of England's finest chalk bed streams (apparently) and full of huge trout!!

I managed to get so many really good shots of H and C, but have had to choose just one - this one of H just pipped the post at the last. I can't believe how fast she is growing up, so much so that she will pose for the camera now too, but is still eager to see the result!

If any of you ever get the chance to go the Monttisfont then I would highly recommend it, especially in the spring/summer when the gardens are at their best :-)
