Rubbish at Wildlife

I'm worn out from digging, bending, weeding.

I saw this guy (any help with identifiaction, I can't find it in my book?) on the inside of the allotment shed window.

It was just at the right height that I had to croudh down a bit to get it, and with the digging and such I nearly kiiled myself and could barely stand up.

(I have trouble with manual focus, because I don't trust myelf with my eyesight. The shed wasn't big enough for the autofocus to work, but this seems okay)

I'm so rubbish I don't even know if it's a butterfly or moth.

edit: Brilliant, thanks. it's a magpie, a moth that eats mint and nettles, both of which I have in abundance. A moth after all
