What I Saw Today...

We thought (stupidly) that we would go to the garden centre at Carlisle today to pick up the ornament Jane left last week. Guess who forgot about that Radio One thing?

We avoided the garden centre and the miles long queue that was running past it and went to ASDA instead.

Then we took the dogs for a little walk, and I spotted dozens of spiders along the way. I was watching the big one in the picture, when the little one wandered up. I assume that the big one was guarding a nest (the fuzzy bit on the leaf) and the little one as either going to attack, or wandering by; either way there was a swift movement and the little one was off the leaf.

Spider fight!!!
