One man and his kayak

Kitty had a couple of friends over for a sleepover so it was pancakes all round this morning before Harvie's swimming lesson at Portobello.

This is taken in the late afternoon when I went back to Porty to pick up the girls from their session, which involved an hour's swimming training followed by an hour of water polo. While the girls were doing their thing, I was buying the contents of the supermarket, Susie was working and Harvie was having a blast with Max, the 14 year old son of friends. He came back after a couple of hours full of tales of football and playing on a trampoline.

We have all just watched Doctor Who, which though entertaining, didn't quite live up to the billing as one of the greatest ever, despite being written by Neil Gaimen, though Doctor Who devotees may beg to differ.
