Dismal Day

I am sitting here watching the rain pour down, on what has been a rotten day, spent 3 hours in A & E with an elderly neighbour, who had been spitting up blood (she is 82), after waiting 3hrs eventually the Doctor took one look in her mouth and said "Oh yes its your Dentures! They are rubbing your gums and making them bleed!) Surely the woman would be in pain, and she wasnt, so home we came, with instructions to see a Dentist on Monday - Poppycock !! so we are self medicating, and Mouth washing with Salt Water every couple of hours, then we will re asses the situation tomorrow, as to whether we need a trip back, or whether we can wait till Monday, and see her own GP.

So the Rain again falls

And just to up date my diary - at 10.30pm I got a call to say the elderly lady had collapsed in her living room, and she is now in Hospital for further investigation - I got home from the hospital at 4.00am !! could have averted if they had took us seriously in the beginning.
