Mount Stuart

Had a really lovely day today on the Isle of Bute with WSMBM, his mum & her husband.
We set off from Paisley & got the ferry from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay then went to visit Mount Stuart - as the website says it is a work of art. I've visited a lot of big Scottish hooses over the years, but this was just breathtaking. Beautiful Rowand Anderson architecture and stunning design inside including some good fun humerous touches. It really was an am azing place to visit. The The Marble Hall is probably the most breathtaking piece of Scottish design I've ever seen!

After the tour we went around the gardens where I took my Blip and then we headed back down into Rothesay for a wander before stopping off for a wee drink. Back on the ferry then home for fish & chips a great day out!
