Sula

Lightship SULA moored on the Gloucester Canal, just outside the Docks.


Built in Beverley, Yorkshire by Cook, Welton and Gemmel Shipyard and launched on 2nd June 1959 as SPURN No.14 to be stationed at Spurn Head until decomissioned in December 1985. Now owned by Light-Ship Therapies, converted for use as an alternative therapy studio at the Sharpness Shipyard and Docks, it was renamed SULA in March 2010.
