Eurovision

Tonight was the night of the eurovision song contest, which we decided to sit through.

The bit were they sing through all the songs was unbearable, but allowed us to decide who we'd back. We went for Ireland and Iceland in the end, and placed a fiver on one and a couple of quid on the other. We should probably have had more patience and not chosen our favourites until all had performed.

Needless to say neither won.... But with a bet on it made the results bit more bearable.

Anyway that's that for another year.
