Washington's Afterthought

Welcome to Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport, where Washington is the afterthought. I don't know what's up with airports and me, but they bring the two year old in me.

I've always loved airplanes and although my trip was to see if my 203 cm frame could be put in an emergency exit row (mission failed) on the Baltimore-London leg of my trip to Madrid, just going to an airport makes me giddy.

Seeing all these people moving around. Planes carrying people from countless places is exhilarating! Tuesday I'll be heading to Spain and Greece. So watch this space for the travelogue.
