dropped the girls off at their granny's early and spent the whole day in town with family and friends - just like we used to do.

this is the lorelei playing in one-up record shop as part of their album launch this weekend...then off to the lemon tree later for the full metal racket.

in between gigs me and sezzalou did a bit of shopping, went for a pint or two then went out for tea - which might sound rather run-of-the-mill to some - but we get to do this sooo rarely that I had the best day in ages.

so, edinburgh blippers - get yourselves along to the bongo club on sat (21st) to see the lorelei and gerry jablonski & the electric band if you can. unfortunately myself an sezzalou won't be dancing behind the merchandise stall for that one - but hey, the bands are pretty good too...

in other news - dougal caught, killed and ate his first bird this morning (flossie stood on it's remains with bare feet)! and we were beginning to think he was a right jessie...
