Out Back

At the end of a day of garden work I looked out at the coming rain and recognized what a major factor water is in my Seattle life. This is the underside of an apartment building that borders the channel behind our houseboat - the ever-changing colors of the light on this water are quite a treat really; we just make it a point not to look up at the six stories looming overhead.

For the record, it is raining and has been all night, and mid-50's F. (I liked that Molly of Tuscany made that record and may begin to add it to my own records. This year's would have been rain, raining, pour, pouring, drip, dripping, shower, showering and in general between low 40's and low 50's.)
