Maths experiment!

This is part of an experiment that I'm doing for a maths module. The experiment looks fun but the maths behind the general case is sadly so far getting the better of me. Hopefully I'll get there in the end and get that sense of accomplishment.

In sadder news my laptop power cable has broke so I'm without a laptop effectively until a new one comes from eBay. But on the bright side that means that there's less distractions from revision.
