Serious Delays

This morning I got on the train to Eindhoven, it was delayed because of a broken down cargo train between Breda and Tilburg. Next it was even more delayed because of some faulty track switches between Tilburg and Eindhoven.

Later this afternoon the trains between Eindhoven and Tilburg were canceled. As it turned out a car full of people had been hit by a train between Tilburg and Oisterwijk. Probably thanks to the faulty track switches... I had to travel over Den Bosch and was late for choir practice.

From the bus I could see my girlfriend arriving at the station of Tilburg just after me while my bus was waiting at the traffic lights. Strange but somehow romantic too.
