Gulls

Took a wander down the beach this morning with our boys plus two. They all took off along the shore and left us messing about with cameras and high tides.

Loads of birdlife about. There must have been a shoal of wee fishes or something just off shore as there were masses of gulls and a few ducks in a very small area. Couldn't see what it was but it kept them busy. Whatever it was, it wasn't enough to attract the seals, they were about but more interested in following the boys.

A beautiful morning turned into an afternoon of hail showers. Didn't stop the boys from building whatever it was they were building behind the shed. I had to tempt them into the warm and dry with steaming mugs of hot chocolate.
