Murphy
I had a busy work related Sunday morning, somewhat unexpectedly.
This afternoon Helena and I went to Fiona and Dave's open house to say goodbye to their Aga, prior to the imminent building work. Their daughter Isabelle who was visiting was keen to discuss permaculture, following her recent design course. I also found it valuable to reflect on my past involvement with Bill Mollison, the co-intiator of the permacultural approach, who I interviewed about sixteen years ago here in Stroud.
There were many others there and Dave introduced me to Dominic, a fellow appreciator of landscape, who I hope to go walking with soon, with Dave joining us as well. I also introduced Dave's son Robin to the delights of propelling mini-frisbees in indoor spaces. In fact he seems keen to join the group I want to start, who will meet on a nearby common to play with frisbees and have fun. It might even start next week.
As we were preparing to leave, I came across Murphy sitting out in the garden. I hadn't met him before, but was immediately attracted to him and his eyes. He let me know I could take a photograph by nuzzling up to my face. That is my story at least.
