periwinkle

I use to ask my Dad if he ever wanted a tatttoo

"Not normally but sometimes I would fancy a periwinkle tattood on my shoulder he'd say"
"Whats a periwinkle" I asked
"Oh a flower" he answered

Today - many years after asking him I found one.

This periwinkle is so small you wouldnt have ever seen it!
The thing would have looked like a red freckle
