Starry Eyed Surprise

Blipping heck! That's a big one!

Well I suppose you need one that big when you're building two aircraft carriers.

The crane, is 68 metres high and will be used to assemble the blocks of two new Royal Navy aircraft carriers, Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales.

It was constructed in Shanghai, China and arrived a few weeks ago. It's worth around
£12 million and is being used by Babcock International. It took two years to build and boasts a 120 metre span and the capacity to lift 1000 tonnes.

Had a superb day with friends and had a fleeting glance at this crane. Some idiot unfortunate person forgot to put the battery in her camera, hence the iphone blip.

Note to self - buy and extra battery.
