The Chevy RUNS again!

Ah the saga of the rebuilt engine is finally coming to an end. My brilliant Taxman/Project Manager/Super Auto Mechanic/hubby has done it again. This motor is purring like a kitten, more or less. It seems a new high performance carburetor may be in the Chevy's future. But I actually vote for that at this point. I mean, all the new parts it has in its gut, it might as well have a new fancy carb too, right? Right. That'd be like getting a new dress, pedi-mani, hair-do and wearing old shoes. Can't have that, right? Maybe that was the wrong order for an example. Should have been frizzy hair or no makeup...shoes might equate to tires rather than a carburetor. ...rambling on and on as usual.

At any rate, this is the car running. Dad watches on while my Taxman makes some adjustments to that hair do carb.

Yesterday was a great garage sale for the pond fundraiser, in spite of the near freezing temps and drizzly skies. Who knew the big subdivision a mile away would be having their annual sale on the same day. Customers came nonstop for 7 hours....lucky us.
