Writing about an old fan

I'm taking the day to do nothing but try and catch up with all my courses that I am now so behind with that it's embarrassing and stressful....anyway, one exercise was to write about an object in the room (in 50 words) and this was my object, so I took it as a picture too...it was just resting on all the course materials, not set up to be taken as this picture....
