Memories on parade

I have worked at my current position for over 15 years. When I was a new hire, when someone went on vacation, they would bring back some trinket. I placed mine on the window sill. We no longer bring such thinks back. My zoo of long ago rememberances sit waiting to be noticed. Such as I did today. The sun is shining. The sky is blue. Day gone by are long gone. But sometimes a piece of plastic made in China can bring back memories of Europe or the Caribbean or New England.
