Sail loft

It may look like our living room but this week it is a sail loft!
Saffwy needs a new smaller jib to use with a reefed mainsail, proper sailmakers wanted a lot of cash for what is a 26sq ft triangular sail in s slightly heavier cloth. Seemed like a fairly simple job, couple of hours studying SailCad, and off we go.
Sail all cut out including tabling for the corners, have spliced one end of the dyneema kevlar bolt rope and just got the tricky business of getting the length right when I do the other end!
Bought the gov a walking foot for her sewing machine that seems to be ace when sewing slippery fabric. All up price less than 50% of a bought one - let's hope it don't look like Widow Twanky's washing........
