Good Evening, Dusseldorf. This is Warsaw calling!

Oh what a laugh!

There were twelve of us for a bit of a shindig at mine, to watch the Eurovision Song Contest of mostly non-European contestants! The Irish entry got the biggest cheer and their orange, white and green flags were waved vigorously, which is more than can be said for the Union Jack. That was merely waved out of loyalty and I shared my mini claim to fame of having checked Simon's (from Blue) passport, to pass the time. They weren't the worst, for sure and it was nice to see them on the left-hand side of the score board for a change. We did our own scoring, based on Song quality and Performance, but later wished we'd had a column for totty rating!

The party continued lonnnng into the night.
