"Three skein" socks

I got my thrifty ways from my Dad, I think. It is very difficult for me to throw things away when I might have a use for them (who knows when)!! So, when I visited Scotland last October, and learned to "turn a heel", Christine and I bought yarn together and divided it.

Hence, I brought home enough yarn for 3 pair(s) of socks; made a lovely pink pair, a green pair, and a blue pair, and gave them all away. Unfortunately, that left me WITHOUT a pair. So, I decided to make me a "three skein" pair.

Do you like them? Notice how much yarn I had left over! How is that for "use it up"!
