180 units intravenously
Take the worlds skankiest dart board, 3 syringes and my (often described as "Rather Odd") sense of humour and this is the sort of thing you get.
I would have liked it better if I hadn't made a bit of a cock up and left the lens slightly loose on the camera body. You can guess the rest,
1) Hold camera above head to get a good angle
2) Twist zoom ring on lens
3) Wonder why both zoom ring and lens are no longer attached to camera body but are now falling at approx 9.81m/s2 towards a concrete patio
4) Sort of hope that perhaps the lump of delicate levers and glass might learn to bounce in the next 0.2 of a second.
5) Predictably, find the 4) did not come true and the lens acted exactly as you would have thought a lump of delicate levers and glass would after travelling 2m and then suddenly stopping.
6) Telephone insurance company to see if the accidental damage clause on the policy has an exception for "Total stupidity by operator"
