the housemartins

there are currently 5 housemartin nests all around our eaves. they are so so busy every day, the chicks have hatched, and all the parents go from nest to nest to check on each others wee families. i can hear them saying ''oh he's got your beak'' and ''awww, she's got your plummage'' they are lovely, bats of the bird world...no wonder the housemartins called themselves after these cute wee guys. (i did get some ace close-ups too, but love these silhouettes against the angry sky)
