Clematis Niobe

I had promised myself a walk this evening to stretch the old legs and blow away the work related cobwebs. On sticking my head outside the door this evening and feeling a certain chill and a gust of wind I beat a hasty retreat indoors, stopping only long enough to grab this clematis as I went! Damned handy that its just by the patio doors!

Strangley, despite the fact the garden was watered on Monday and we had rain yesterday the pots and tubs look very dry. I guess the wind must be to blame for that. I feel I should go out with the watering can right now. That would probably help to confirm the neighbours doubts about my sanity for sure!
