The Invaders from Spain
On Saturday, my picture was from a Bluebell Wood, full of the native Scottish variety. You can tell the native ones as the flowers are all at one side.
However, the Spanish ones, as seen here, grow in my front garden and their flowers, like bells grow on either side, and have bigger bells. I pull then out of the ground every year trying to get rid of them, but the little blighters are like dandielions, they seem to multiply!!
Here is a close up of one of them - I had a short list of 6, couldn't make up my mind so this was chosen by Papa:-).
