Pleasant Surprise

I had recently finished (after 6 months!) putting together a scrapbook of photos for a friend's mom, who had just retired as a school teacher, and the photos were from her going-away party on the day of her retirement.

In return, she had gifted me with a notebook, which I so love! The pleasure was more for the gesture than the gift itself, yes, but the thing in itself is a real treat for me.

School marm that she is, she had promised me a new one as soon as I use up all it's pages and requested that she see what I did with it afterwards. I hope I get an A+! :)
