Parent-Governor

I've been a parent-governor at my kids' school for about 18 month, but only recent, when a friend also became a governor, that I've really taken a keen interest.

Today was the premises committee - talked about a break in at the school last night, and also the on-going saga of the new school building and whether it will be completed and ready in time for the new school year in September.

Simmering in the background were some playground politics which I won't bore you with now, but maybe another time.
