"About half-way between Fort William and Oban, a tiny road leads off through the trees and opens out onto Cuil Bay, a long shore of meadows and sea-grasses facing across Loch Linnhe to the remote hills of Morven. Silhouetted against the western sky in the middle distance is the small island of Bal-na-Gowan, dwelling of the smiths - where blacksmiths secretly made muskets during the 1745 rebellion."
Thought that was a lovely little description! (From some tourist website but never mind!) Bal-na-Gowan seen just vaguely in the top left here. And of course a very windy Claire who has the benefit of living in this beautiful place. Surprisingly relaxing on such a rainy/windy day! The sea was very rough but we had fun jumping waves!
