The Tough Guy

My daddy made me laugh with his expression of glee over another successful hatching in his second clutch of biddies...always putting on the 'tough guy' act, and having a long life history of being an excellent hunter...in a rare moment of pure delight, he said, 'I just get so attached to these little guys!'
I guess you would have had to live with him for 40 years, like me, to be touched.
