Pink Rain

After yesterday's grayness, today was in great danger of being equally bland until I spotted pink rain on a leaf! OK, maybe not, but it certainly made for a little more colour than I was expecting to see today.

Almost looks like autumn has come early. Well, we were joking that the sunny spell in April was our summer! :)

This is a bit of a screw-up actually. The DoF is far too shallow, so I've missed half the leaf, but I was in a rush to get home so it was a quick snap without checking my aperture. Doh! Still, I quite like the effect..
