It's a Berry life

Discrimination

Tonights Blip was going to be a lovely photo of a flower and a gentle comment on my working day. That was until I took Ailsa out for a walk and called in to a local pub that has just been refurbished. It has a lovely beer garden at the front which is all fenced and its 10 mins walk from our house.

"Ideal" I thought for that sunny summers evening.

Well that was until I discovered they dont let dogs in at all. They tried to hide behind some health & hygiene reason but that is absolute balls. Its only if there is food out being prepared, such as a carvery that you are not allowed to bring dogs in.

I'm sick & tired of being discriminated against just because we own a dog.

I dont like screaming children when i'm eating but they are allowed.

We have been in some lovely pubs in Cornwall and near to us in the North East that have been very welcoming. Especially The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge & The Old Success Inn at Sennen. Also The Masham in Hartburn welcomes dogs.

Well The Mitre in Stockton certainly wont be getting our business in the future!!
