It lives!

It lives! I managed to cook the poor orchid that C bought for me when I placed it in a lovely spot...atop my Apple TV (which gets extremely warm). All of its flowers dried up and dropped off, as did the leaves and buds. Now, any normal person would probably admit defeat and consign the plant to orchid heaven, but no, I have kept watering it and talking to it and now it would appear that against all the odds, there is new growth. I am very pleased, as is C I think. ;-)

Suffice to say, the first new flower, if it gets that far, will make it in to my journal.
