Lewesian graffiti

On one of the narrow alleyways in town - Pope's Passage, I believe - is a nicely weathered rendered wall. It has odd graffiti on it from time to time - including some stickers at one stage that have long since washed away.

This morning I noticed this vibrant purple flourish had appeared. Under moody skies above (not shown) the colours glowed as I passed.

So although it's not particularly skilfully executed graffiti, I liked the colour - and the way the artificial paint contrasts with the muted greens and greys of the wall itself.
