Big Wheel Keep on Turning
I was impatient at work today, to get home and build the 2nd bike/finish the first one. Luckily it was my early finish.
Was home for 3, Mathew got home shortly after and we sorted the bikes out, but then he had to take his car to the garage. It was almost 6 before we got out, but it was grand. We cycled across the barrage into Cardiff Bay and around the canal area.. was about a good hour in all, then a stop for Starbucks (but I only had a plain black coffee). The first half of the cycle back was easy enough, but there are some big hills to negotiate once you hit Penarth. We pushed the bikes up the worst of them, but were still proud of our efforts!
A rubbish tea, and some soap awards after that, then the joys of food shopping. Absolutely knackered now :(
This picture was just meant to be a bit of fun, but I think I'll revisit it later. It needs to be shot against a vibrant blue sky, I think rather than all the clutter of the arcade, but I loved the idea of the huge wheel - one of those rare occasions when what I saw in my head was pretty close to what the camera ended up capturing. Mathew's hand as big as his head was a surprise bonus though :-D
