Middle Fork Nooksack - The Pearly Gates

Wow, it really feels like spring in the PacNW. This a picture of the upstream entrance of a bedrock confined reach of the Middle Fork Nooksack River. The snowpack is just beginning to melt meaning summer and lots of river time is just around the corner.

To really experience the Canyon one only need to enter through the pearly gates...
