Weld

Yes, I know it isn't a pretty weld, but I was trying a new method. One of the guys I work with is a bit of a metalwork specialist. He suggested that I turn the amps right up on the welder to weld thin steel. I was dubious but as it turns out, he was right. Sure I blew a few holes in it but it was my first attempt. Plus the welds I did achieve are nice and flat.

This was a practice on an offcut. I will try this method for real on the weekend when I carry on building the mezzanine in the garage.
