blether.....

..... to engage in conversation, long-winded or idle talk (as in "Ah met yer granny doon the toun, we had a richt gud blether the gither")

There was a fair amount of blethering today at the garden centre. As well as our usual catch up with the olds, we spotted aldomak on the way in and then
mrsmozo on the way out, both engaged in the art of blethering. Bursts of sunshine all day but it's cold in the wind, not May weather at all, but then we had that in April. Back to work tomorrow, but only for a day, with lots to catch up on, missing my other half :(
