Not a lot going on at the bird feeder this rainy Thursday. I'm not sure I've ever captured two chickadees in the same photo. There were four of them at one point, but they are fast movers.

I'm procrastinating going shopping. B and I are invited to a black tie affair and I am not a formal kind of gal. I've always defaulted to the eccentric musician outfit, but I'm afraid it won't work this time. Slicing off the end of my thumb Tuesday hasn't helped my case as a musician either. A bit hard to play the guitar without a working thumb. A revolting development and a black tie party to boot.
