Tapas

Never one to resist tasting something new, I was invited to sample some Tapas this afternoon. This potato omelette (tortilla de patatas) was still warm, and the chef told me he had used 18 eggs.

I also tried some goats cheese, olives, rice salad, white Spanish asparagus, cold meats, chicken and ham deep fried croquettes, and soft crusty bread.

I liked the asparagus so much, I am going to try and source some. Very tender, it melted in the mouth. We steam the green stems for a treat, so adding some white would make a interesting texture combo.
