Wild poppies and hollyhocks

Doing the weekly food shop, I noticed the grass verge was full of poppies and hollyhocks. After dinner I suggested walking to the verge for closer inspection. So, there I was, balanced on the grass, trying to take photos while cars were constantly driving past and causing a draught (grr!), I managed to take a few nice shots. And here's one of them.
